Merry Christmas!! As I am writing this it is before Christmas and you will most likely receive it before Christmas!

This is always such a busy time of year. With so many parties, events, and activities. Between family stuff, stuff that my Daughter is in or invited to, and Legion family activities my calendar has been full the last couple of weeks.

Thank you to the Princeton American Legion Family for inviting me to their Christmas Party it is always fun to see all the members of the Auxiliary. I cannot believe how many socks they collected from members for the St. Cloud VAMC. There are pictures of all the socks in the newsletter.

After that I was able to help a little bit at my own unit in Delano with our Santa Breakfast and then my unfortunately brief time at the Department Pearl Harbor Rally. (My daughter had an event she wanted to go to with friends from school.)

Unfortunately, I was unable to make one other Christmas party due to Laura being sick I am so sorry to them, and I hope that we can reschedule a visit with the members of the Ogilvie Unit.

This past weekend we had our 10th District Christmas Party. Thank you to everyone who braved the cold to enjoy a couple of hours with us. Thank you to Maple Lake American Legion Family for hosting, you did an amazing job and the food was wonderful!

I hope that everyone is planning on being at Midwinter Conference on January 17th. Its will be a wonderful day. It is great way to learn about the programs of the American Legion Family.

We are also planning on having a silent auction with a bake sale that day as well. As well as a food drive for the MN Veterans Pantry. Please remember I love getting to know all the members of the 10th District so please feel free to invite me to your functions or even meetings. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!!
