Who are we?

The 10th District American Legion Riders are dedicated to supporting the mission of the American Legion and riding to honor our fallen military men and women. We ride motorcycles and raise money for Veterans.

Who Can Join?

  • Members must hold membership in and be in good standing with The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Sons of The American Legion.

  • Members must be legally registered motorcycle owners or be the legally registered owner's spouse within the state of registration.

  • All operators must be properly licensed and insured per state laws.

  • All members must obey motor-vehicle laws in the state in which they are operating a motorcycle or riding as a passenger.

Event & Fundraising Ideas

Annual Rides, Events & Raffles

Riding in Minnesota is definitely a seasonal activity, but you can still plan events & raffles year round. By hosting rides at the same time each year, it helps ensure your event continues to grow. Here are a few more ideas.

  • Cook-Offs (Chili, BBQ, Soup, Casserole, etc.)

  • Veteran's Day Breakfast (charge for non-Veterans)

  • Breakfast with Santa Event

  • Breakfast, Bingo & Bloody Mary's

  • Purse or 2nd Amendment Bingo

  • Turkey Bingo

  • Golf Tournament

  • Bean Bag or Horse Shoe Tournaments

  • Membership Drive or Dinner

Here's a few more ideas

  • Sell Raffle Tickets for large ticket items or cash

  • Organize Benefits for members of your Legion Family who have fallen ill

  • Gun Raffles

  • Work with your local Golf Course, see if you can create a partnership to sell Golf Memberships and get a cut of the proceeds for your Unit

  • Follow other Legions on Social Media and find out what they are doing
