10th District Auxiliary Newsletter - July 2025

Hello Mighty 10th District!

I really hope you are ready for an exciting year? I know I am! Department Convention was once again an amazing experience. I always have a wonderful time. Congratulations to the Mighty 10th District American Legion Family's own Robin Dorf for being elected Department President. I look forward to working with her this year. Thank you to those members that have accepted a District chairmanship this year. I really look forward to working with you as well and helping our units out.

I do have a couple of chairmanships Junior Activities Chairman and Co-Chairman and Memory Book. To all the unit members and Legion family members I hope this year we can learn and grow together! I have some very exciting ideas this

year!

The theme this year will be: P.O.P.P.Y.

Your Future

The symbol will be the Poppy. The project will be raising money for VA Gift Shop and MN Veterans Pantry. A special Project I would like to work on is the Junior Activities Program in our very own District. We have so many members that are juniors or that we could sign juniors up we just need to get them involved. It is such a great program. I grew up in the Auxiliary as a Junior myself as so many others.

And how I am raising my daughter in the program. We need to be mentors to these young ladies. They are our future of this organization!

We have our District Executive Committee Meeting coming up and Chairmen Folder Handout as well as Introduction to the upcoming year on August 17th at the Fridley American Legion. Make plans to attend Camporee at Legionville the first weekend in September! That Friday night the 10th District will host a Pork Chop feed. I invite everyone to help make this event amazing! And please bring a side dish to share. The upcoming year planning is in the works. We will get a calendar out to you ASAP.

Bye for now!

Brandi Christensen, 2024-2025 10th District President

Hello One Last Time,

Tamara and Bethany

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you. I met people, learned new things and made so many memories as District President. The support, mentorship, friendship and company of my fellow district members made this last year so special.

I can’t wait to see you around the district as we work the ALA

programs under President Brandi’s leadership.

Thank you all,

Bethany Dickert
